Albert J. Brown, Jr. , 65 years old, of Sewell, NJ, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Doris Irene (nee Burke), loving father of Kelly Bolgunas (Steve), and adoring grandfather "Poppy" of Aubrey.  He is survived by his siblings, Dr Michael Brown (Patti, MD), Kathleen Doghramji (Paul, MD), Stephen Brown (Mary Ann), Marybeth McMunn (Kevin), and Susan Mauri (Wayne). He is also survived by his brothers-in law Daniel Burke (Karen) and Don Riley, special aunt and Godmother Dorothy Sullivan, Uncles Tom Brown and Jim Davis, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Al worked for the refineries in South Philadelphia and Marcus Hook owned by Arco and Sun Oil Companies for 39 years and most recently, Al worked for Med-Tex Services in Philadelphia.

Al took great pride in serving his community with the Hurfville Fire Co, Washington Township Fire Department, Battalion 3, and the Collingdale Fire Company in Delaware County.  He also was a member of the Repaupo Fire Museum.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, July 29, 2024, in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 from 10:15AM - 12:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon.  Inurnment to follow at St Joseph's 240 Lower Landing Road, Blackwood NJ 080112.  In lieu of flowers family requests donations to be made to Samaritan Hospice at Samaritannj.org or Samaritan Gift Processing Center PO Box 71425, Philadelphia PA 19176-1425
