Ana Adelia Mejias

It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ana Adelia Mejias-Adames on December 21, 2025. Ana was born on June 28, 1931, in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, and lived a life devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Efrain Mejias and her cherished son, Jose Mejias.

Ana was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Esmalidia and Lucy Mejias. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Jessica, Carmelo, and Victoria Cruz, Tanishia Vazquez, Vanessa Mejias, Christina Mejias-Hunter, Priscilla Mejias, Ashley, Jonathan, and Xavier Gonzalez, as well as twenty-one great grandchildren.

Ana was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she so lovingly nurtured.

Services will be held at Alloway Funeral Home in Merchantville, New Jersey, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. will be reserved for immediate family only.  Friends and extended family are welcome to attend from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park  1300Rt 13N,  Cinnaminson, NJ 08077
