Barbara A. Krause, RN

Unexpectedly, on December 31, 2024, Barbara A. (nee Worrell) Krause, age 70 years of Browns Mills, NJ and Avon Park, FL, formerly a lifelong resident of Pennsauken, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Richard R. and Dolores A. (Diloreto) Worrell, beloved wife of 45 years to Michael T. Krause, loving and devoted mother of Andrew M. (Nicole) Krause and Victor M. Krause (Eddie). Sister of Donna J. Singer and the late Kathleen M. Hall and sister-in-law of Fred W. Hall, Sr., loving aunt of Fred W., Jr. (Jaimee) Hall, Richard W. Hall, Erica M. Singer and Kevin Singer, great aunt of Kameron Hoskins. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

She was a graduate of Pennsauken High, Class of '72, and continued on to Cooper Hospital Nursing School, where she received her Registered Nurse Certification. Although not practicing, she maintained her license up to her passing.

Meeting at St. Cecelia's in CCD class of their freshman year, Barbara married Michael on April 7, 1979. Alongside Michael, Barbara was actively involved in the creation and daily operations of the formerly Krawulski Funeral Home, now Roedel-Krause Funeral Services.

Barbara loved to volunteer especially at the schools Andrew and Victor attended. She was a committed member of her community, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, was a founding member of the Consulata Funeral Ministry at St. Cecilia's, Parish Council Member, Stewardship Committee Member and ran the lunch program at the school for several years. She was also involved in her local politics as Republican committee and club member.

With all her involvement, her most enjoyable and proud moments were raising her two sons, Andrew and Victor. They were her shining stars. She was a true "Soccer Mom". Whether it was, soccer, baseball, basketball or anything else they were involved in, she took them wherever they had to be.

Barbara loved to travel and was able to pack up in a second's notice. She especially loved going to her home in Florida.

She loved animals, adopting numerous. She found great comfort in her final years with her two little furry friends, Tuxedo and Snowflake.

Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, Viewing: 9:30 AM to 10:30am, at Mary Queen of All Saints Parish (St Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church) 48th Street & Camden Avenue Pennsauken, NJ 08110 Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. NJ
