Betty (nee Beyer) Nardello, age 95, passed away August 28, 2016. She was preceded in death in 2006 by her husband of 64 years John R. Nardello. Betty was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was a 1939 graduate of Olney High School, Philadelphia followed by employment as an executive secretary for a commodities broker, Harry Schlotzhauer, on Philadelphia, PA during World War II. She and her husband John moved to Pennsauken, NJ in 1948 where she continued to reside for the next 67 years. She served as an officer on the PTA at G. Harry Carson School in Pennsauken. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother during the 1950's, volunteered with the American Red Cross and West Jersey Hospital Ladies Auxillary. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church Merchantville, NJ. She was a member of the Episcopal Church Women's Group and in later years served on the Church Altar Guild. First and foremost she took great pride in her family and in her role as a homemaker. She loved to bake and for many years provided the family birthday cakes, which were her signature pound cake. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or important date, acknowledging all with cards and hand written notes from the heart.

She is survived by a son John (Sharon) and daughter Joan (Ron). Loving grandmother to five and adoring great grandmother to seven. She found joy and treasured her grandson Chris and his children Justin, Juliana and Bianca as well as granddaughter Chelsea and her sons Anderson and Weston. They kept her young and gave her purpose. She is also survived by a sister in law Joan Patterson of Atlanta, GA and may loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in Grace Episcopal Church 7 East Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ. There will be a viewing from 9:00-10:00 AM in church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery Huntingdon Valley, PA. In Lieu of flowers, Betty would have requested donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church Merchantville, NJ.
