Bruce Basner was born April 9, 1952 and peacefully passed away on April 14, 2026. A dedicated history teacher and soccer coach, Bruce was beloved by his students and athletes, leaving a lasting impact through his guidance, kindness, and passion.

He was the beloved son of Jacqueline Snyder, Joseph Basner, and stepfather Wesley Snyder.

He enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially dark chocolate, Coca-Cola, Bloody Mary's, and Philadelphia sports. Bruce will be remembered for his warm spirit and sense of humor.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Basner; his children, Brian Basner (wife, Heather), Michael Basner (wife, Jessica), and Michelle Basner (fiancé Josh Rodgers); his grandchildren, Beatrix and Benjamin (Brian and Heather); and his grand dogs, Brody and Cooper. He is also survived by his brothers, Mark Snyder and Christopher Snyder, and their families. He was predeceased by his brother, Glenn Basner.

Bruce will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
