On May 23, 2018, age 85, of Cherry Hill, NJ. He was the beloved husband of Esmalidia Mejias and the loving father of Jose A. Cruz, Wanda M. Cruz, Maria D. Burgos, Jessica M. Cruz, Carmelo Cruz, Jr., Victoria M. Cruz and the late Jose N. Cruz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 7 sisters; 3 brothers, several nieces and nephews; and two brothers-in law Israel and Gonzalo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Alloway Funeral Home 315 East Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery Arneytown, NJ.
