Cheryl Lynn Keys was born on January 26, 1963. She was the youngest child of Samuel James and Ruth Belle Keys, who both preceded her in death. She departed this life on July 26, 2020 in Cooper Hospital. Cheryl grew up in South Camden. She attended Bergen Square Elementary, Morgan Village Middle School and Camden High School.

Cheryl lived her life on her own terms. She was outspoken, determined, humorous, and loved having a good time with her friends and community. Cheryl leaves to mourn her three children Sherin, Samuel, and Oprah; her sister Dr. Karen Keys, 2 grandchildren, Azelea and William, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and her community of friends.
