Christina Marie Van Zandt of Collingswood, NJ, passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 42. Loving mother of 3 beautiful children, Danielle Van Zandt- Marchewka (16yrs), Geremia Van Zandt -Gregory (15yrs) and Dominic Van Zandt (11yrs). Beloved daughter of Diana Van Zandt Maycott and Gary Maycott. Adored sister of Andrea Van Zandt (fiancé Sergio Brennan) and Melissa Maycott (fiancé Joseph LoCastro) and cherished aunt of Lilienne Brennan (7yrs), Javier Brennan (4 years) and Madelyn LoCastro (6 months).

Christina, warmly known to many as Tina, was born on March 5, 1979 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. From the time that she could walk, Tina was a natural athlete. In addition to dance and gymnastics, she participated in recreational sports in the community and was known for her tenacious spirit, strong leadership qualities and lighthearted personality. In High School, Tina excelled in both sports and academics, receiving several awards for her outstanding performance on the Collingswood High School's varsity softball and soccer teams.  Tina accepted an athletic scholarship from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA, where she later graduated with a dual bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Health Care Services (she had the privilege of being a part of the first graduating class to earn this degree) along with a bachelor's in Spanish.

Tina's greatest accomplishment was her children, her love and light will shine through them always.  She cherished her relationships above all else and we would love to celebrate her life by inviting relatives, friends and neighbors to join us in the following ceremonies to honor our beloved Christina Marie Van Zandt.

The Arrangements:

Thursday, April 29, 2021 between 5-8pm at Alloway Funeral Home located at 315 E Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109. Mass will be held the following morning, Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11am at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Saint Vincent Pallotti Church located at 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
