Christopher Luke Harm , 75, of Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2022.  The son of Henry and Veronica Harm, he was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and graduated from Bayley Ellard High School, in Madison, New Jersey and Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He did additional undergraduate studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.

After college, Chris started working for Heritage Bank and later moved to PNC Bank, where he was appointed Regional Vice President in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  During his early years in retail banking, Chris was very involved in the Rotary Club in Rockaway, New Jersey, and was later elected president of the club.  In the late eighties, he left PNC Bank to work for Federated Investors, and in 2008 was moved to Pittsburgh to their headquarters.

Chris married his wife, Regina, (McKernan) in 1982 and they settled in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  Within a short time, they were blessed with three beautiful children, Matthew, Daniel, and Jacqueline.  Being the consummate family man, he loved spending time with his children at the local swim club, attending sporting events and various school functions.  In his younger years he loved to water ski and snow ski and he was excellent at both.  However, his real passion was dancing.  Chris loved getting out on the dance floor to show his slick disco moves, which weren't at all shabby.  Most of all, he loved spending summer vacations at the Outer Banks with the McKernan, Holland and Donahue clan and had done so since 1987.

Without a doubt, one of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his grandchildren, whom he adored, and they affectionately called him, "Pop".  He cherished each one for their, own separate personality traits and gifts.  Chris reveled in being in their company and when they would visit, he made sure to have their little toys and dollhouse all set up and ready for play.  Nothing delighted him more than to have one of the grandkids snuggle up next to him to read a book or watch a favorite movie.  He considered himself a lucky man to be blessed as the grandfather of Olivia (Livi) Harm, Veronica Harm, Georgia Harm, Holly Harm and George Harm.

All who encountered Chris knew him to be a kind and unselfish gentleman.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and a very gentle way.  He was loved by many and will be especially missed by his family and friends.

Besides his five grandchildren, Chris is survived by his wife, Regina, his son Daniel, (Nicole), and his daughter Jacqueline.  He was predeceased by his son, Matthew, (Tiffany), earlier this year.  He is also survived by his sister, Buffy de Jong, (Pieter) and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at the Alloway Funeral Home in Merchantville from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, April 29, 2022.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Camden.  Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill NJ 08002.
