Rev. David John Brogren, 66 years, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away after a brave battle with cancer on June 4, 2024.  Born July 7, 1957, in Rockford, IL, Dave was the beloved son of Edwin and Alice Brogren.  He graduated from Rockford East High School in 1975 and went on to earn a degree in Music from Northern Illinois University, going on to a 7-year career as a bread truck driver and supervisor, working for Colonial Bakery.  He felt God's call on his life to become a minister and obtained a Master of Divinity from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.  Dave enjoyed a fulfilling 28-year career as a Presbyterian Pastor.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lynn Brogren; his sister, Kathryn Molina and his brother, Neil Brogren; his children Sarah and Emily Brogren and Lauren (Jaress) Loo; and his grandchildren, Cyrus and Knight Loo.

Dave was known for his passion for Christ, love of family, and sense of humor.  He was an accomplished musician and had a beautiful baritone voice.  Throughout his career in ministry, he served on committees with Presbyteries of the EPC and volunteered for many years with the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce.  His kindness and dedication touched many lives.

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 13, 2024, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1704 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ with a receiving line starting at 10:00 AM.  Friends and family are welcome to attend a lunch reception afterward at the Church's Family Life Center.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Dave's memory.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.  Dave will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
