DeVida Wideman was born on February 26, 1959 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She grew up in Camden and Pennsauken New Jersey and graduated from Pennsauken High School in 1977.  She later attended Camden County College majoring in business. She had many interests and
hobbies including traveling, bowling, making floral arrangements, and listening to music. She was known for her vibrant and friendly personality and had a desire to care for and help others.

Throughout her career, she held various administrative roles in the insurance, banking, and collections industry, but her true passion was catering. After working for Corinne's Place Restaurant for many years, she started her own catering business, DDW Unique Catering, and provided exceptional service to her clients.

She passed away peacefully on November 18th after a brief illness. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Robert and Janet Wideman, her son Robert Wideman (Liz), grandchildren Jacob and Molly Wideman, sister Janinne Hopkins, niece, Kelly Hopkins, Aunts Peggy Reaves and Claudette Brown, and many loving cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:30AM-12:00PM in the Alloway Funeral Home 315 E. Maple Avenue Merchantville NJ, 08109. Followed by a 12:00PM Service.  Interment will be private
