Dominic F. Colangelo on April 17, 2023 age 98 of Oaklyn, NJ.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dominic Colangelo, a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Dominic passed away at the age of 98 after living a full and rich life. He was a man of great integrity whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children Linda Petruncio and Andrew, Leonard Colangelo and Lisa and his siblings Carmela Narciso, Salvatore Colangelo, and Irene Monoyios. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Erik Hibbs and Melissa, Jeffrey Hibbs and Ashley, Kelly Colangelo, Michael Colangelo and Anat, Timmy Colangelo and Brianna, and Anthony Colangelo and great grandchildren Rosalina, Brayden, Nicholas, Chloe, and Luciano Hibbs.

Dominic was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose, his parents Lucia and Leonardo Colangelo; siblings Rose Giordano, Frances Cialdella, Leonard Colangelo, Elizabeth Busch, and Joseph Colangelo; grandson Adam Colangelo and great grandsons Michael Anthony Colangelo and Dominic Carl Hibbs.

In addition to his role as a beloved family man, Dominic served his country with honor and distinction in the Army. He also had a successful career in education, serving as a professor at Rutgers University, Camden, NJ, as well as a teacher at Camden High School, Camden, NJ. Later, he became self-employed as a CPA.

Throughout his long and fulfilling life, Dominic formed many wonderful friendships, and his kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered as a true gentleman who had a zest for life, and an unwavering love for his family.

The loss of Dominic Colangelo leaves a great void in the lives of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but always remembered with love and gratitude for the many gifts he brought to this world. Until we meet again…

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 10:00-11:00AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St Vincent Pallotti Church) 901 Hopkins Road Haddon Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM.  Entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill NJ 08002
