Dominick (Sonny) D'Adamo, was born on 5/10/33 and rested on 1/17/2021. He was the third child of the late Pietro and Angelina D'Adamo. Survived by Elizabeth (Pat) and Marie Rita (Marita) (Joseph)  and is now reunited in heaven with brother Joseph (Jean)   and sister Adeline (Paul).  Dominick was born and raised in South Philadelphia. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas grade school, learned the family business and went on to enlist in the US Army.  He was a proud soldier of the Infantry Division where he was a platoon medic. Dominick finished his military enlistment and started a lifelong career as a Concrete Contractor. His body of work included South Philadelphia and South Jersey.

Dominick had many interests. In his early days, his favorite gathering place  was "Banji's Social Club" and South Philly Bocce Club and  when he moved to South Jersey became a member of Bogey's Golf Course. He always found time to take his sons Peter and Dominic to the Mountains for deer hunting. To commit to every Saturday for the family card game night and to dabble in horse racing which is one of his daughter Donna's favorite pass times.
On November 26th, 1955, he married Angela Bernadette Molinero. She would be someone who would devote her whole life to loving and taking care of him. He always said "My Momma didn't raise no fool".  Angela and Dominick were married for 65 years. A true testament of love and endurance. His generous spirit with a heart of gold will forever live in the memories of his three children Donna Ioquinto (Kevin), Peter D'Adamo Sr. (Sharon), Dominic D'Adamo Jr. (Marlene). He is survived and loved by Grandchildren Danielle (Jose), Kelly, Jonathan (Nicole), Joshua (Janira), Nicole (Roger II), Jacqulyn (Derek), Peter (Ally) and Dominic III. And not to mention 10 Great Grandchildren Gianna, Alyssa, Santino, Leyla, Valentina, Roger III, Tyler, Hunter, Kailee and Tiegan. Some of which he usually tried to persuade them to get cookies for him !!  Many family members remember Dominick as a "great guy" , "he always looked after us", he was "an amazing man, so many great memories".
In her own words, our Mom will remember our Dad as kind hearted, fun to be with, always had a joke, full of personality, loved to dance, travel and snack on Reeses Peanut Butter cups. He always made her laugh. He was her best friend. Always complimenting "his bride".  I will remember my Dad as the most definitive example of a true HERO for enduring the last 10 months due to Covid, in a facility without the people he loved the most, his family.  We will forever cherish the years we were blessed to have you Dad.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday morning at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Hope Parish 701 Little Gloucester Road Blackwood, NJ 08012. Interment will follow in the Camden County Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh Camden, NJ.
