On October 26, 2018,  age 70, of Cape May formerly of Merchantville, NJ.  Dear wife of the late Thomas J. Short, Esq.  Cherished daughter of the late Thomas Alexander Michael and Mary Carroll Fisher.  Dear sister of the late Carroll Fisher of Philadelphia, PA, Patty Fisher of Pacific Beach, CA, Barbara Fisher (Charles Nelson) of Virginia Beach, VA, Kathy (Len) Sloane of West Chester PA, their children Christopher (Kattie) of Philadelphia, PA, Jennifer (John Belcher) and their daughter, Ava of Washington, DC.

Eileen graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Rittenhouse Square (1966) Philadelphia, PA.  She was a member of the class of 1970 from College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY.   Eileen was a successful sales rep for many years.  She retired to Cape May after the death of her beloved husband.   Eileen's passion was volunteering for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization that advocates for children in foster care, and through which she met her godson, Noah Gillespie.

There will be a visitation on Friday evening November 2 ^nd from 7PM to 9PM and Saturday morning from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in the Alloway Funeral Home, 315 East Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM Saturday, November 3 ^rd , in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 43 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ.    Interment will be private.  At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen's name to CASA of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, 321 Shore Road, Somers Point, NJ 08244, or www.atlanticcapecasa.org
