Elizabeth A. Herman, 88 years, of Audubon, NJ, passed from this life on October 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Elizabeth was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and lived in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Illinois, and New Jersey.  She retired in 2005 from HIFI Sales Company in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Known to her friends as Betty Ann, she was a faithful member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Merchantville, NJ where she was a choir member for many years alongside her loving husband, Harry.  Before moving to Audubon, Betty lived in Pennsauken, NJ for 44 years.  While there, Betty served on the Delaware Gardens First Aid Squad, was an active member of the Friends of the Pennsauken Library, and a longtime member of St Peter Church and choir.  Betty was a lover of the Arts, and loved traveling, gardening, and her many feline friends.  She enjoyed planning and hosting big family celebrations and vacations, but her true passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her children; Betsy Obringer (Bob), Harry Herman III (Beloved Roseann), Diana Schiraldi (Nick), Dina Mancini and Loralie Kasper  (Beloved Andrew), as well as 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Betty was predeceased by her husband, Harry Herman, Jr. and her brothers Joseph and Daniel Halligan.  Betty touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the Alloway Funeral Home 315 E. Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109.  Mass of Christan Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church 43 W. Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ 08109.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers family requests donations can be made to Creutzfeldt Jacob Disease Foundation, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, or the American Cancer Society
