FLORENCE "FLOSS" D. CARUSO

Florence D. (nee Galley) Caruso, age 83 years and a longtime resident of Maple Shade, NJ, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence R. Caruso, Sr., and is survived by her beloved son, Lawrence R., Jr. (Shannon McKeown) and daughter Michele Lewis (Edward) and step-daughter Marysue Heiser (James), brothers; Leo, James and Robert Galley and 5 devoted grandchildren; Jamie (Dani) Caruso, Jessica (Dominick) Gregory, Samuel Lewis, Edward Lewis and Lawrence Caruso, III. Floss is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many devoted friends. She and her late husband operated Caruso's Corner Store in Maple Shade for many years. She was also retired, after working 30 years as a Claims Analyst for the Social Security Administration.

Floss was very active and gained her most enjoyment from spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved very deeply. Along with swimming and exercising, her favorite hobby was playing Pinochle. One of her greatest accomplishments was that of being the President of T.O.P.S., Maple Shade Chapter.

Relatives and Friends are invited to join her family, Monday evening, April 17 ^th , beginning at 6:00 PM, from the Roedel-Krause Funeral Services, 315 E. Maple Avenue, (at the corner of Cove Rd.) Merchantville, NJ. A Memorial Celebration of her life will begin at 8:00 PM. Interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Samaritan Hospice.
