Departed to the heavenly glory on Monday, October 22, 2018, Mrs. Golia Abdelmalek, wife of the late Andrew Shoukry.


Golia was born in Alexandria, Egypt on March 10, 1933 to Youssef and Lisa Abdelmalek. In 1951, she married Andrew and helped raise three daughters and three sons.


Golia had a passion for her family. Some of her most cherished moments were when all her grandchildren would get together and play cards, while she would sit and sew winter hats for them. She was known for her love and kindness to all who came to her, whom she considered like her children.


Golia was preceded in death by her husband Andrew. She is survived by six children, Magdy, Autif, Magda, Awatif, Marvet, and Ayman, 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.


The visitation is tonight, October 23rd, from 7-9 P.M. at St Anthony's Church (267 Hartford Road) Medford, NJ.  The funeral is in the same place tomorrow at 11 A.M.
