Obituary

James F. Cicalese 67 of Pennsauken.  Passed away suddenly on May13,2022.  He went to be with the Lord and will be buried with his dearest and best friend, Steve Ackerman.
Born in Camden to his beloved parents, Aldo and Rose (DiSalvio) Cicalese.  He was raised and attended school in Bellmawr, NJ.  He received a BA degree from Rutgers in 1977.
James is survived and will be deeply missed by his sisters, Linda Buerklin (Carl) and Mary Persechino (Fred). James is also survived by nieces, Wendy and Lori; nephews, Fred, Matt, and Joe; great nephew Daniel; and great nieces, Darcy, Ellie, and Paige.
Jim enjoyed painting, drawing, and photography.  He has won many art contests through the years.  He enjoyed entering contests through the "Friends of the Pennsauken Library."  He also enjoyed taking classes through the Haddonfield Adult Evening School.
He will be dearly remembered for his deep Catholic faith, his kindness and concern for his family, neighbors, and friends.  He loved to make or purchase gifts for everyone.  He was truly a kind man with a big heart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass at Mary Queen of All Saints Parish,4801 Camden Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110, on Tuesday May 24,2022 At 10:30AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.  In Lieu of flowers mass cards would be appreciated.
