Joan Adair Campbell went to rest with our Lord on November 10, 2016. Born August 7, 1926, in Ft. Wayne IN, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years C. Norman Campbell and her dear sister Sharon Adair Bell. She is survived by her brother Robert Kemp Adair and her children Candice C. (Allen) Raymond, Todd W. (Rebecca) Campbell, Claudia C. Faunce, Lauren C. (Mason) Buckley, C. Norman (Hani) Campbell, III, Gavin A. Campbell, and Jon Rorison Campbell; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Joan was a resident of Edgewater Park for 71 years. She served as a Deacon and Elder for the Beverly Presbyterian Church where she was a member for 67 years. while raising her seven children she enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and reading. She attended Burlington County College and earned her associates degree. She then worked as a substitute teacher and librarian for the Edgewater Park and Willingboro School Districts, along with serving on the Burlington County Juvenile Review Board. In 1984, she went to work for Hassinger Architects until she retired in 1996. Above all she dedicated herself to being a very special mother. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday November 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Beverly Presbyterian Church 121 Warren Street East Beverly, NJ. Family visitation will be at 10:30 AM. Following the service a reception will be held at the Campbell home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sunday School of Beverly Presbyterian Church. The Campbell family would like to thank Dr. Albert Dow for all the love and compassionate care he gave to our mother throughout the years.
