Joan Marie Niemczak , 72 of Cherry Hill passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 25 ^th , 2021. Born in Philadelphia PA, and raised in Deptford, NJ, Joan was a true "Renaissance Women" who shared her many talents with the world.  Her creative, loving, generous spirit and charismatic personality touched everyone blessed to know her.

Joan enjoyed successful careers as a lifeguard, RCA Records Administrative Assistant, John Wanamaker Floral Designer, dance/macrame/floral design instructor, square-dance caller, leader of Rainbow Cloggers - Golden Nugget 4H group, bus driver, and science teacher, but her favorite role was being a wife, mother and babci (grandmother).

Joan is predeceased by her husband Leon who passed away in 2008 from ALS.  Joan will always be loved and dearly missed by her children and grandchildren; daughter Phaedra (Kurt), sons Stephen and Andrew (Siân), daughter Athena (G), Tracy (John). Babci adored spending time with her grandchildren.  She was always caring and attentive to Gwenivere, Matthew, Karissa, Gabriel, Hunter and Kaitlyn.

Joan, the oldest of 8 is predeceased by Renee & Maria and survived by Billy, Sharon (Art), Faith, Paul (Bonnie) and Pae (Sheree).

A special memorial mass will take place on Saturday, February 12th at 9 A.M. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753.

Joan's life celebration will take place on Saturday May 28 ^th on her birthday, location TBD.
