On September 6, 2018, age 74, of Mt. Laurel formerly of Maple Shade, NJ. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Roth) and father of  John J. Carr IV (Tracy), Brian Carr (Kristy), Edward Scharr (Mary Beth) and Deborah Leitner. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and one sister Janice Vongs. Mr. Carr retired from Bell Telephone and was a US Army veteran. His funeral will be held privately.
