On February 27, 2021, age 87, of Cherry Hill, NJ. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee DiElmo) and loving mother of John of Glassboro, Thomas of Cherry Hill, Dorothy of Cherry Hill and Diane (Scott) Gallagher of Deptford; 9 grandchildren Jeffrey, Michael, Dustin, Brittany, Jamie, Nicole, Dana, Sierra and Tyler; 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of Clarence (Coren) Snare and the late Nancy Sawchuk. John was a retired machinist and enjoyed gardening and travelling. He was also a member of St. Peter Church Merchantville, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM in the Alloway Funeral Home 315 E. Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM in St. Peter Church Merchantville, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be a viewing Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Sean Byrne Fund 1340 Tanyard  Rd.
