Zanikos, John (Ioannis), age 82 from Bellmawr, NJ on January 17, 2022

Born in Chios, Greece, John owned several diners, including the Richmond Diner in Philadelphia and the Parkside Diner in Ewing. No one could make a cheesecake that rivaled John's, and we will miss that along with his cinnamon cheese bread nearly as much as we miss him.

John spoiled his grandchildren with the most delicious homemade soups, and he would tie blankets around their necks, treating them like the super-heroes he believed they were. John loved horse racing, and he was the proud owner of several racehorses.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children Johna Ruffner and her husband Al; John and his wife Kim; and Joy Martin and his favorite son-in-law Bert. He is also survived by his "babies" - his grandchildren Jessica Tomaszewski, Katelynn Graham, Kevin Hamilton, Brittny Zanikos, John Zanikos, Robert Martin and Emily Martin. He was also beloved by great-grandchildren Bryce, Cora, Amelia, and Owen.
