Joseph A. Black 83years, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away August 30,2023 surrounded by his family.  Joseph was survived by his devoted and beloved partner of 55 years, Marlene Corris, 2 sons, Leonard (Stephanie) and Charles (Betsy), and 4 grandchildren Katelyn, Camryn, Cade, and Kayle.

Joseph worked for the United States Postal Service until retirement. Joe was a fan of all sports and enjoyed watching old movies.  His true passion was food, and everyone knew his favorite was lobster.  Joe even had a "stuffed lobster" he kept beside him.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, September 13,2023 beginning at 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM at the Alloway Funeral Home 315 E Maple Avenue Merchantville, NJ 08109.  Mass of Christan Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Peter Church 43 W. Maple Avenue Merchantville NJ 08109.  Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum 2398 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
