Joseph D'Amato passed away on October 5, 2026, age 65.

Joe's heart was always with his birthplace of Cherry Hill, NJ, the people and places he knew, and the friends made at the beach and on social media.

It would be impossible to talk about Joe without mentioning his passionate following of The Rolling Stones or his first car, a Porsche 914, purchased while in high school with money earned from his part-time jobs.

Joe thrived in his role of class clown and jester, loving to get people talking and laughing. He had a strong caregiving drive, caring for his father for many years and showing concern for the wellbeing of those around him.

"What is your wisdom to live a happy life????? I guess I have so many thoughts on the matter. One that comes to mind is to judge yourself not on what others expect of you but what you expect of yourself. Don’t worry about others’ expectations....just live by your own.” - Dec. 2, 2022
