Kathleen Mary Wiand "Big Kath" nee Kucinski entered this world on April 27, 1935, with the help of her grandmother in Monson, Ma. Big Kath went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2026, surrounded by family at her home in Pennsauken, NJ.

Big Kath was dedicated to her family always looking out for her children and parents. She was a loyal employee of the United States Postal Service for more than 40 years. She even achieved a few awards.  One special award was for the "Most Sick Time Saved", what dedication.

Big Kath is predeceased by her husband, William B Wiand and her parents Frank and Mary Kucinski (nee Plata). Surviving are her children William J Wiand, Kathleen H Ray (nee Wiand), Frances B Griffin (nee Wiand) and Dianne L Bhatti (nee Wiand) (Ali). Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Big Kath also leaves behind her only siblings Frances (nee Kucinski) (Henry) Tepper and Linda (nee Kucinski) (Richard) DeMarco, Big Kath Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Big Kath was a friendly woman and if you met her, you probably walked away a friend. Always willing to help someone in need. She loved to laugh and could be a jokester at times.

Mom, Grandmom, Scootie we love you and you'll always be in our hearts.

Alloway Funeral Home, Merchantville, NJ is handling the going home of Kathleen on April 16, 2026. Per the wishes of Kathleen, this is a private service for the immediate family. We plan to have a memorial service at a later date so we can celebrate her life and all are welcomed at that time. In lieu of flowers, please donate any contribution to your favorite military organization or Breast Cancer organization.
