Louis V. Bergbauer "Lou" died on December 22, 2015. Born on November 17, 1927 to Frank and Alberta Bergbauer, he was 88. Lou was the devoted husband of Phyllis M. (nee Macchia) for 64 years. He had one son Robert L. Bergbauer (Marie), and three grandchildren Matthew R. Bergbauer, Stephen A. Bergbauer and Nina T. Bergbauer. Lou was predeceased by two brothers Francis J. Bergbauer and Thomas A. Bergbauer, Sr. He was a professional photographer throughout his life and retired as Deputy Superintendent of the Camden County Division of Weights & Measures. Lou was very active with the Knights of Columbus as a third degree honorary life member of the Santa Maria Council #1443 in Haddon Twp. and a fourth degree member of Bishop Eustace Assembly #652 and its color corps. He was also a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Saviour Church in Westmont, worked throughout his retirement as a poll monitor for the local Board of Elections, and was an avid golfer. In lieu of flowers donations in Lou's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis,TN 38105. Cremation and inurnment will be held privately.
