On October 9, 2017, age 89, of Pitman, NJ formerly of Broomall, PA and Sewell, NJ. She was the beloved wife of Peter J. and devoted mother of Robert (Patricia), the late William, Peggy (Ray) Seserko and Carol. She was also the grandmother of Nicholas (Katherine), Lauren, Kelly and Sean; and great grandmother of Lilly Rose. Margaret was born in West Philadelphia and attended West Catholic High School. After graduating, she enrolled in Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the hospital for many years. She also worked at Haverford Hospital and eventually became the head nurse of the infirmary at Harcum College. Margaret also held a position on the Board of Health in Marple Twp., PA. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church in Clifton Hts., PA and St. Pius X Church in Broomall, PA. She was currently a member of the Church of the Holy Family in Sewell, NJ. After living in the Parke Place retirement community in Sewell for many years, she and her husband moved into Pitman Manor. Margaret will be remembered as loving and caring. She cared for her parents and sister in their later years, as well as raising four children while she continued to work as a nurse. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Church of the Holy Family 226 Hurffville Road Sewell, NJ. There will be a viewing from 10:00-11:00 AM in church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Pitman, NJ.
