Mary Caroline Keenan (Nee Sheehan) age 85. Passed away on September 25, 2022.  She was born and raised in Merchantville, NJ and was a long-time resident of Medford, NJ.  She is survived by her sons Joseph (Jodi) and Christopher (Beth) and her daughter, Kara (Chris).  She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Keenan, Sr., parents Mary Elizabeth and Robert Sheehan, Sr., and her brother Robert Sheehan, Jr. (Antoinette).  She was a loving grandmother to Taylor and Joe, III, a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a devoted sister-in-law.  She was cherished by many loving friends.  Mary was a lover of the best things in life.  She enjoyed culture, the arts, travel, music and all things French- she especially treasured her time living abroad with her family in Norway, England, and Canada.  After being widowed at 46, Mary returned to college and completed a degree in nuclear medicine.  She then had an 18-year career in healthcare.  Mary was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 11:00AM to St Peter Church 43 W. Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ 08109, for a Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment immediately following at Arlington Cemetery 1620 Cove Road, Pennsauken NJ 08110. Family is requesting in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees Township, NJ 08043 or vaonj.org
