Mary Elizabeth Theresa Taraser Schopf passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021.  She was 97 years old.  She was the beloved daughter of Theresa M. and Joseph E. Taraser and widow of Robert W. Schopf, Sr.  She is survived by her son, Robert W. Schopf, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Michelle L. Schopf.  She is Grandmother of Robert W. Schopf, III and his wife Shannon Schopf, LeeAnn Schopf and Amanda Schopf, and she is the Great-Grandmother of Elizabeth, Eli, Kelsey and Robert, IV.  She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews and her cousins Mary Glackin and Helen Turko.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Fairview, Camden, NJ.  During her marriage, she resided in Washington Twp. NJ.  She worked at RCA in Camden, NJ and RCA Service Company in Cherry Hill, NJ for twenty-two years as payroll manger.

She was predeceased by her sister her sister Theresa Bubien and brother-in-law Walter J. Bubien of East Brunswick, NJ and her sister Louise McLaughlin and brother-in-law Frank J. McLaughlin of Wilmington DE.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Doylestown, PA at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021.  A viewing will be held a an hour before.  Her burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on White Horse Pike in Berlin, NJ.
