Francis P. "Frank" McLaughlin, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, after a brief illness.

He was the beloved husband of 55 years to the late Sandra "Sandy" A. (née Jannetti) McLaughlin. He was a devoted father to Christine (Bruce) Barrett, Richard F. (Jennifer) McLaughlin, and Michael P. McLaughlin, and a very proud grandfather to Adrienne Barrett and Connor (Cassie) Hornibrook.

Frank was the loving son of the late John and Rose (née Herscher) McLaughlin. He was predeceased by his sister and brothers and is survived by many caring nieces, nephews, and cousins.

An avid sports fan, Frank was devoted to the Phillies and Eagles. He loved music and could often be found listening to his old records. He loved having a good time and was well known for his dancing skills.

One of Frank's greatest joys was going out to dinner at local diners, especially the former Penn Queen Diner in Pennsauken. He loved sitting at the counter and talking with the locals. Everyone there—including the owners, waitresses, and even the busboys—loved him. He had a remarkable ability to bring a smile to anyone's face.

Most of all, Frank's greatest love was his beloved Sandy, whom he met while they both worked at General Accident Insurance. Frank was employed there as an auditor, a position he held for many years and in which he earned the respect of his colleagues.

His next greatest love was his family and the joy they brought to his life, especially his grandchildren. Frank always looked forward to family gatherings when the entire extended family could be together.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing and Funeral on Tuesday, June 9, beginning at 9:00 AM at Roedel-Krause Funeral Services, 315 E. Maple Avenue (corner of Cove Road), Merchantville, NJ. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Mary, Queen of All Saints Parish, 4801 Camden Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.

Interment will follow immediately at Arlington Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved Sandy.
