Michael V. Pecora, 63, of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous, short-term battle with leukemia.

Born on May 15, 1963, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Michael was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (née Milazzo) Pecora. He is survived by his devoted sister, Janine D'Alessandro; his nephew, Robert Ford; and his cousin, Laurie Matthews.

Michael found great comfort in reading the Word of God and walking in a life of faith. He cherished his years at Cooper River Apartments, where he enjoyed taking daily walks around the park and spending time with the many friends he made there. Above all, Michael treasured every opportunity to socialize with his family and friends, whose love and companionship meant so much to him.

For several years, Michael worked at United Fabric, where he formed many lasting friendships that remained dear to him throughout his life.

Michael often spoke with deep gratitude about the kindness, compassion, and exceptional care he received from the staff at Cooper Hospital during his illness. Their support brought him great comfort and was a source of strength for both him and his family.

Michael will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the warmth he shared with everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Thursday, July 16, 2026, in St. Stephen Parish 6306 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109 begining at 10:00AM.  His Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 A.M.  Followed by his Entombment In Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077
