Nina Cooker (nee Farrell), age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, August 7, ^, 2020 at her home.   Survived by her loving husband and soul mate, Michael "Mickey" Cooker with whom she was married 59 years. Sister of the late Anthony Farrell.  Her sister Evelyn Ferren and her in-laws Betty Farrell, Mildred Cooker, and Woodrow (Angie) Cooker survive her. Beloved mother to Tracy Ann Frascarelli (Michael), Denise Amons (Michael) and Michael (Stephanie). Beloved Mom-Mom to Phillip Frascarelli, Nina Frascarelli, Matthew Frascarelli, Patrick Amons, Jake Amons, Christopher Amons, AnnMarie Cooker, Julia Cooker, and Angelina Cooker and beloved Aunt of many nephews and nieces.

Nina was very loved and cherished by all she knew. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High school in 1960, a year after her husband Michael with whom she married in 1961.  She was the beloved matriarch of the family. Her family was her world and she contributed greatly.  One could always find her in the bleachers cheering for her daughters and son's games, "Coach Mickey's" St Joan of Arc CYO teams for thirty years, and in recent years her grandchildren's many sporting events. Nina loved babies and was always there to help her family and others to show love and care for them. Nina was an excellent cook but better host as was evident on many special family gatherings, holiday meals, and her Sunday night dinners at Mallard Drive were a tradition for many years.  She loved to take long walks on the Ocean City boardwalk, through various neighborhoods of Naples Florida, and her Country Squire pathways with her husband alongside riding his bicycle. Nina was an active congregant whose demonstrated love for her Savior Jesus was abundant. She was a CCD teacher at St Joan of Arc Marlton, active in youth ministries and prayer groups at Come Alive Medford and River of Life Cherry Hill churches, and for the past few years enjoyed Sunday worship at Fellowship Community Church in Mount Laurel.  Her presence was always welcomed and she will be missed at every future occasion. Nina had a youthful spirit, great sense of style and design be it clothing or home interiors of friends and family, her humor was well timed and well received, she was well read in the scripture, and a genuinely kind person who cared for others. Although Nina will be missed by her entire family and friends, she leaves with us so many wonderful memories to cherish.
