Obituary

Patricia Chapman (nee Hewitt) 81 of Pedricktown passed away on September 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born & raised in Alloway, she was the daughter of Ralph & Alice Hewitt (née Goff).
Pat graduated from Salem Community College in 1986 with honors and a perfect 4.0.
Pat was an extremely talented woman that could do anything she put her mind to. Sewing, crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, macramé, painting, drawing, leatherwork, etc
She made dresses, sweaters, vests, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, afghans and more.
She made her own bullets and went to the gun range with her Dad.
She froze her own vegetables, made jellies & jams, homemade breads, pastas, pies and cakes with her Mom.
You name it and Pat could do it.
She was a wonderful cook and made delicious original meals.
She was an extraordinary woman, very intelligent, an avid reader, a wonderful person, deeply loved and adored and will be missed every single day.
Patricia is predeceased by her husband Barry Chapman, daughter Debbie Chapman, her three brothers Robert, Allen & Ralph Hewitt, grandson Christopher Cousin and son-in-law Karl Cousin
She is survived by her son Mark Chapman of Georgia and two daughters Tracy Cousin and Dawn Perez (Abel) both of New Jersey.
Two granddaughters Morgan Cousin & Ally Perez, three grandsons Brad Perez, Trajan & Julian Chapman and two great grandchildren Violet & Lincoln Perez plus cousins, nieces & nephews.
The family will have a Celebration of Life and internment will be in Fernwood Memorial Park in Shiloh, New Jersey.
