On October 6, 2018, age 88, of Cherry Hill, NJ. She was born January 22, 1930 in Camden, NJ to Angelo and Carmella Macchia. She was the devoted wife of the late Louis V. Bergbauer for 64 yrs. and is survived by one son Robert L. Bergbauer (Marie) and three grandchildren Matthew R. Bergbauer (Monika), Stephen A. Bergbauer and Nina T. Bergbauer. Phyllis was predeceased to two sisters Marie Josephine ("Jo") Catamusto and Carolyn ("Carol") M. Johnson. She was employed as a medical secretary and retired from Kennedy Hospital. She was an avid reader and card player throughout her life, but her greatest devotion was as a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren. Her visitation will be held from 9:00-10:15 AM on Friday morning in Holy Savior Church- St, Theresa of Calcutta Parish 50 Emerald Avenue Westmont, NJ followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in church.
