Pierre Ndilikilikesha, 62, passed away on March 24, 2017 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro in New Jersey. He was born on November 27, 1954 in Mabuga, Sake, previously known as the prefecture of Kibungo, in Rwanda.

Pierre was a devoted husband to the late Donatilla Niyomukesha and a loving father to Marcel Rukundo and Robert Ngenzi. Pierre is survived by his mother Sabine Nyirabinego (late Gakara Aloys); his sisters Therese, Adorata, Aloysia, Adeline, (late Alexia), and brothers Sylvestre and Frank Kizito. Pierre will be missed by all of his favorite nieces and nephews: Adolphe, William, David, Delphine, Grace, Gloria, Thibo, Juliette, Gabriel, Melia and Christa.

Pierre was a professor at he National University of Rwanda and later at Duke University, after which he was Director of Decision Analysis for a number of pharmaceutical companies in New Jersey. He enjoyed reading and debating, watching stand-up comedy (particularly George Carlin), and was a man of broad learning with whom you could have conversations about finance, history, philosophy, sports, music, geopolitics, etc.; he spoke Kinyarwanda, French, English and Russian. Pierre will be missed by his many friends, students and colleagues.

Pierre's body was entrusted to Alloway Funeral Home for cremation, and a bereavement luncheon will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 1:30 PM at he Forsgate Country Club located at 375 Forsgate Drive Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
