Robert Hutton Morrow, of Medford, NJ died peacefully March 10, 2017. Born on August 18, 1931 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Charles Tracy Morrow and Lydia Hutton Morrow. He graduated from Alexis I. du Pont High School in 1949. He graduated from Cornell University in 1954 with a M.S. in Chemical Engineering and then earned an MBA from the University of Houston in 1978. Robert served in the US Navy between 1954 and 1957. He then went on to a 36 year career with E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company with postings in Charleston, WV, Wilmington, DE, and LaPorte, TX. Robert was married to Marylou (nee Bussing) on January 1, 1955. He was the loving father of Scott Morrow (Carol Amico), Mark Morrow, and Lee Morrow. He was the proud grandfather of Sara Morrow and Amy and Jesse Morrow. Robert Shared his lifelong love of the outdoors as a Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 40 in Wilmington, DE and later with his children and family on many camping trips to state and national parks across the country. Throughout his life, he also enjoyed tennis, sailing, golfing, gardening, and classical music (which began with playing trombone in high school and college.) He was active in Medford Fiends Meeting and at Medford Leas where he treasured the energetic and caring community.
Robert is also survived by his sister Sally Ann Morrow Robinson (Paul) and was predeceased by his brother Charles Thomas Morrow (Bridget). A Memorial Service is planned for Sunday May 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Holly Room at Medford Leas.
