Ruth M. Neel

(December 1, 1935 - September 21, 2025)

Ruth M. Neel (nee Gerst), on September 21, 2025, age 89 years, was the beloved wife to her late husband Daniel J. Neel, Sr., for 62 years. She was the loving mother of Daniel, Jr. (Tony), Mary Ellen (John) Vincent, Karen (Mark) Ratti, Mark (Nancy).  She is also survived six grandsons Mark (Jamie) Ratti, John, Jr. (Abbey) Vincent, Matthew (Asia) Ratti, Brian (Alexis) Vincent, Nicholas Neel and Joshua Neel. Ruth was also graced with having three great grandchildren Marley Vincent, Mason Ratti and Carter Vincent. She will also be missed by her sister Mary Panaro and many nieces and nephews.  Ruth was predeceased by 4 brothers.

Ruth was the loving daughter to her late parents Victor and Mary Ellen (nee Weigand) Gerst.  She was born and raised in Camden, NJ. She worked at Simon and Schuster for 25 years in Customer Service.  Ruth found her enjoyment with playing the lottery, going to the casinos, taking long car rides alongside her husband and just spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at St Stephen Parish 6306 Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109.  Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery Rt. 70 Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
