William H. Patterson Jr. (Bill), age 82 years, of Willingboro, NJ, a dedicated truck driver with a passion for the open road, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024. Born on November 28, 1942, in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, to William H. Patterson and Emma Jane Patterson, Bill later relocated to New Jersey.
He began his career in his family's grocery store before embarking on a lifelong journey as a truck driver, hauling trailers across the country for many years. Bill particularly enjoyed transporting cars and trucks, dedicating many years to New Car Carrier. Most recently, he shared his love for driving as a bus driver for Mega Bus.
Bills hobbies included all things gardening and over shopping at The Dollar Tree.
Bill is survived by his two children, and multiple grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Joe Patterson. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Patterson.
Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, beginning at 10:30 am in Lakeview Memorial Park 1300 RT-130N Cinnaminson, New Jersey, 08077 where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Christine.
