William L. Van Horn , age 92 years, passed away on August 29, 2024, in his dear hometown of Audubon, NJ. Born and raised in the area, he graduated Woodrow Wilson High School and later attended Temple University.

Bill honorably served in the Air Force, and married Connie. They were stationed in Newfoundland, Canada for their early years of marriage. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career in banking, eventually becoming Vice President at First Pennsylvania Bank.

In retirement, Bill pursued his passion for food by opening his own deli. He traveled, making frequent trips to Nevada to visit his family. Known lovingly as 'Pop,' he followed the activities of his grandchildren with keen interest. He was a dedicated husband caring for the love of his life, Connie, who he missed dearly since her passing.

Bill enjoyed good music and live theater, indulging in these hobbies whenever he had the chance. His love of his community and the joy he found in simple pleasures were evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Leonard) Martorano, Lisa Brzozowski, and Karen Sexton; his son, William Van Horn, Jr; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Cornelia Van Horn, and son, Robert Van Horn.

Interment is private. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate his life at 1:00 pm, September 18, 2024, at Villari's Lakeside Restaurant, 2375 Sicklerville Road, Sicklerville, New Jersey. In lieu of sympathy gifts, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association act.alz.org, or Animal Welfare Association awanj.org in Voorhees, New Jersey, reflecting Bill's love for animals.

Bill's life was rich with experiences and love, and he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
